Halloween Tips for Not-So-Scary Trick-or-Treating

Halloween can be an exciting and memorable holiday for kids, but for parents determined to raise healthy children, it can be a ghoulish nightmare.

As a parent I didn’t want to instill the bad habits of junk eating, knowing the detriments to health. Nor did I want to mess with our good, day-to-day dietary habits I was aiming to maintain! 


I have the greatest job in the world as a researcher of health, lifestyle, plant-based nutrition, and as a nutrition educator teaching others about the powers of a whole-food plant-based diet, as I get to be witness to countless people improving their health, gaining vitality, combating disease, and also eating in the most beneficial way to preserve our planet.
